When should I begin shopping for my dress?

The ideal time to order your wedding gown is about 8 - 12 months before your wedding. Getting married sooner? Don’t worry! I may still have options for you. Remember to allow approximately 3-4 months for alterations as well.

What happens at a bridal appointment?

We have fun! You’ll pre-select 6-8 gowns to start, and from there I’ll help you explore different silhouettes, fabrics and styles to find what makes you feel beautiful! Once we find the one, we’ll complete your bridal look with veils and accessories.

Who should I bring to my appointment?

Because Head Over Heels is an intimate boutique, you may bring up to three of your closest loved ones. Keeping your group small allows the experience to stay personal and focused on you. Please note that children under 12 are not permitted due to the delicate nature of the gowns and accessories.

What about alterations?

Almost every wedding gown will need alterations to achieve the perfect fit. Alterations are not done in house and are seperate cost from your gown. I’m happy to recommend trusted local seamstresses to help you complete your bridal look.

Do you purchase or consign wedding gowns?

Head Over Heels does not purchase or consign pre-owned wedding gowns. I recommend checking iwth local bridal resale shops or donation organizations for options in your area.

How long do appointments last?

Bridal appointments are 1 hour and 45 minutes, Little White Dress appointments are 1 hour and Accessories appointments are 45 minutes.

What should I bring to my appointment?

You don’t need to bring much! Nude, seamless undergarments is always helpful, but most gowns have built-in cups, so a bra isn’t necessary. Shoes aren’t necessary either. Most importantly, come ready to have fun and find your gown!

What size gowns do you carry?

Most of my bridal samples are in bridal sizes 8-14, with select gowns available in smaller and larger sample sizes. Please reach out before your appointment with any sizing questions and I’ll be happy to discuss the options available to you.

How much are you gowns?

Gowns $3,000-$4,500 with select gowns below $2,000 and up to $6,000. If you are looking to stay within a specific budget please reach out before your appointment and I’ll be happy to let you know what options I have. Little White Dresses range from $300 - $1,500, with new styles arriving throughout the year.

Do you carry Mother of the bride/groom gowns?

At this time, I do not carry Mother of the Bride or Groom dresses.
